Its the time of year where we leave the glorious beaches and warm sun of the Caribbean and our yachts head back across the pond to UK. During our regatta racing season a lot of yacht equipment is taken off the yacht to save on weight, this all needs to go back onboard! As you can see form the pics it is a good couple of days work and trainee Andras has been working hard to get everything stowed including three weeks worth of provisions for six hungry crew!
This will be the trainees’ first paid employment as we will be offering them this passage as their first job as professional crew with us. The end of the Caribbean Regatta season marks the end of their training with us and it has been a fabulous experience for them, they have taken part in some excellent regattas, gained experience with charter guests and had tons of hands on experience working within the yacht charter industry. Once they arrive back in UK they will be ready to take their RYA Yachtmaster exams which we are sure that they will ace.
We have a professional delivery crew of six bringing EH01 from west to east skippered by Andy Barnes, who is joined by first mate Becky Ellis. EH01 will then be based in Cowes where she lives until September. See you soon!
