Round Britain and Ireland Race Campaign – ISAF Sea Survival Course
ISAF Sea Survival Course – Offshore Race Training
Training for the Round Britain and Ireland Race is in full swing with the second weekend of training seeing the crew taking part in the ISAF- Sea Survival course in Cowes.
The first day saw the crew take the Sea Survival part of the ISAF with a morning in the classroom and the afternoon at the Pool getting wet and cooling down from the heat.
Back in the classroom for, Day 2, the second part of the course covering the ISAF parts and with group discussions from lessons leant and what we could do as a crew if things go wrong on our yacht and how we can deal with loss of rudder/rig and other problems.
It was great to get the guys together as a team and see them working together towards the goal of taking part in this years Round Britain and Ireland race.
We run stand alone Sea Survival courses year-round as well as First Aid, VHF radio and STCW.
