PYR owns four yachts which are available for Cork 300 charter:
EH01 is professionally maintained and raced competitively in major regattas and offshore events in the UK, Europe and the Caribbean. She comes with an extensive racing sail wardrobe, and has been modified from factory original for ease and functionality of racing.
GRAND SOLEIL 43
Our Grand Soleil 43’s are professionally maintained and available to be raced competitively in major regattas and offshore events in the UK, Europe and the Caribbean. They have all the inventory necessary for both competitive IRC racing and comfortable cruising.
Both Quokka 8 and Jua Kali are available for Cork 300 charter
An impressive 40-footer, a performance machine with cruising accommodations. Its size will appeal to sailors who want to go fast around the buoys and those who want to go from point to point and have real comfort once they get to an anchorage or marina. Sunset is race ready and she would be an excellent boat for the courses of Cork 300
The Beneteau First 40 is a superb racer/cruiser. With its uncluttered deck layout, spacious cockpit and well fitted out interior, the First 40 offers you not just speed but comfort.
The First 40 has proved itself over the years by notching up impressive race results
The J122 has an upwind sail area of 97 square metres, thanks to her 110% headsail, and a 150 square metre downwind sail area. She also benefits from a carbon fibre bow sprit and asymmetric spinnaker, which makes her easier to race for most teams, especially those with fewer crew.
J/109 features the popular carbon fibre retractable bowsprit and asymmetric spinnaker system and a cruisable 2-cabin interior layout with standing headroom. She is designed with a very low VCG, long waterline, and generous sail plan with the horse power for competitive racing
Cork Week’s success is found in the eclectic mix of classes, competitors, good courses, good company, a team of dedicated volunteers and the good humour of thousands of visitors.
Cork 300 will be structured to accommodate sailors who have time constraints, those that want a mix of courses, those that want some offshore racing and most importantly, those that want to have fun both afloat and ashore.
