Why we love the Round the Island Race
The Round the Island Race is unique in its sheer scale; on race day there are literally thousands of yachts out there ranging from the smallest laser to sleek maxi racers. It is a spectacle of impressive proportions and even in light winds can never be boring because there is so much expensive floating tupperware to gawp at! For tactical yacht racing and non stop action for the whole duration of the race, this regatta cannot be beaten. Prior sailing experience is not essential because our experienced and patient professional skipper will coach you and ensure that everyone is confident to make a valuable contribution to the crew.
